Loving wife of James L. and mother of James R.
Her early years were spent as secretary to the purchasing agent of the Chevrolet Flint Assembly Plant. Following as a stay at home mother until son Jim was well along in school at which time, having taught herself to make French Beaded Flowers, she opened The Beadery in Franklin Village where she taught the art of beaded flower making for nearly ten years. She lost her battle with lung cancer on August 4th.
Family members who preceded her in death were her parents Andrew and Margaret Steffler, son James R. and nephew Robert Anderson.
Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 32515 Woodward Ave., (btwn 13-14 Mile), Friday 9a.m. until funeral service at 11:00a.m.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial tributes to the American Cancer Society.
