Capt. Arthur and his bride, Gloria, sailed and chartered their Tall Ship, the Brigantine Romance, in the Caribbean and around the world.

Mrs. Kimberly, age 78, died Thursday, November 23, 2006, at William Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born Helena Gloria Cloutier on July 22, 1928, in Detroit, to Eugene and Lillian (Smith) Cloutier. She had been a life long resident of Detroit and around the world.

Education: Mrs. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marygrove College, Detroit

Occupation: She was the Co-owner and First Mate of the Tall Ship, Brigantine ROMANCE, with her husband, Capt. Arthur Kimberly. CAPT. AND MRS. ARTHUR KIMBERLY BROUGHT THE WORLD OF SQUARE-RIGGED SAILING ADVENTURE TO LIFE FOR MANY LUCKY GUESTS AND CREW

Mrs. Kimberly kept a meticulous log book. She enjoyed photograph sketching and art, and snorkeling.

Surviving Spouse: Arthur Kimberly. They met on his ship, The Yankee, and married in 1961
Deceased brother: the late Eugene E. Cloutier (Joann)
Surviving nieces: Diane, Denise and Linda
Great-niece and nephews: Joseph, Jason, Rachael and Christopher

Visitation: Sunday, November 26, 2006, from 1-6 PM, with Rosary at 5 PM at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads).

Funeral Service: Monday, November 27, 2006 – 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Reverend Christopher Welsh officiating.

Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Southfield, Michigan
